Grarose is a field management platform used by contractors and trade professionals to manage quotes, invoices, and customer communications. This page describes how SMS consent is collected from customers who receive text messages sent through the Grarose platform.
Grarose operates as a communication platform on behalf of contractors. SMS messages are sent by contractors to their customers — not by Grarose directly. Consent is collected by the contractor at the time of the business relationship, prior to any SMS being sent.
The opt-in process works as follows:
Grarose requires all contractors using the platform to obtain proper consent from their customers before sending any SMS messages. Use of the platform constitutes agreement to this requirement.
The following is the standard verbal consent script used by contractors on the Grarose platform when obtaining customer consent:
After verbal consent is obtained and the customer's number is entered into Grarose, the following confirmation message is sent:
Messages sent through Grarose are transactional and customer-service in nature. They include:
Grarose does not send marketing, promotional, or unsolicited messages.
A typical SMS sent through Grarose looks like this:
All messages include the contractor's business name, the purpose of the message, and opt-out instructions.
Customers can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message received. Upon receiving a STOP reply, no further messages will be sent to that number from that contractor's account.
For help, customers can reply HELP to any message or contact Grarose support at [email protected].
Message frequency varies based on the contractor's business activity. Customers typically receive messages only when a quote, invoice, or job update is relevant to their account. Grarose does not send recurring scheduled marketing messages.
